Job Description

Accounts Minimum 3-4 Years of work experience in the Logistics Freight industry in the accounts freight department in the UAE. \xc2\xb7 Bachelor / Master\'s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Relevant Degree. \xc2\xb7 Excellent knowledge of Accounting Principles and Knowledge in Operations Management and or Logistics experience / Import-Export / Customs clearance/ VAT / Bank Transactions. \xc2\xb7 Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees. \xc2\xb7 Excellent knowledge on Container Bookings (FCL & LCL). \xc2\xb7 Fully familiar with import and export operations and customs clearance. \xc2\xb7 Updated shipment bill to the customer. \xc2\xb7 Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills. \xc2\xb7 Submit reports and Follow direct instructions from Management. \xc2\xb7 Conduct ledger scrutinizes \xe2\x80\x93 Debtors, Creditors, and General. \xc2\xb7 Software expertise, QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, and MS Excel. \xc2\xb7 Daily, weekly, and monthly SOA generation. \xc2\xb7 Monthly accounts reconciliation. \xc2\xb7 Maintain the general ledger and all related accounts with proper documentation and records of all company transactions and follow-up payment collection and billing reports. \xc2\xb7 Prepare and maintain cash flow analyses as needed of monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows). \xc2\xb7 Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary \xc2\xb7 Comply with financial policies and regulations. Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-4 years\xe2\x80\x99 Work experience in Accounting Field.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals.
  • Good presentation and report writing skills.
  • Strong Influencing skills and ability to communicate audit results with senior management.
Skills
  • Import-Export and Sea/Land Route Specialist.
  • Bookkeeping & maintaining.
  • Container Bookings (FCL&LCL) on Liner Portals.
  • Time Management.
  • The ability to influence and negotiate with all levels of people.
