Duration: 20 months Working station: Behara or Kafr El-Sheikh Governortes - with missions to Dakahlia and Sharqia Tasks:

Overall responsibility for the technical provision of the innovative approaches in agriculture production with special focus on rural women
Overall responsibility for the installation, operation and management the aqua-system units
Capacity development of MALR/extension employees and farmers in applying the new approaches

Qualifications of expert

Education/training: University degree (master) in the field of agriculture
Languages: Proficient language skills in English and Arabic
General professional experience: 7 years of professional experience in the aqua systems for agriculture production, including capacity development for smallholder farmers.
Specific professional experience: 5 years of professional experience in training and capacity development especially for female farmers In addition, experience in water efficiency in agriculture production
Development cooperation experience: 3 years of experience working on development cooperation projects.
