About The Role As an Aquarist, you will actively participate in feeding schedules, food preparation, daily maintenance of in-tank and external facilities, water analysis, and animal observations. You will also participate in successful culturing regimes of live foods and animals. The Aquarist will ensure that the best animal welfare practices are in accordance with marine education, research, and conservation. The priority of this role will be to maintain the aquarium exhibits and cultures in accordance with routine and preventative maintenance programs above and in water. Proper husbandry techniques will be used to ensure the optimal health of animals including quarantine procedures, water quality analysis, and record keeping. About You Our ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of aquarium experience along with bachelor's degree in Marine Science, Biology or Zoology. Additionally, you must have a PADI Rescue Scuba Certification or equivalent.
