Role Overview

The

Applied Commercial Head

will lead Carrier UAE's Applied HVAC business, driving commercial strategy, sales execution, and operational excellence across the UAE. This role is critical to achieving Carrier's growth ambitions for 2026 and beyond.

Role Responsibilities

Commercial Leadership

Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals. Oversee sales pipelines, forecasting, and deal closure. Collaborate and support the Applied back office team to ensure alignment on delivery and execution.

Market Expansion

Strengthen relationships with contractors, consultants, and key accounts. Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage across the UAE. Lead business development efforts in underserved or emerging regions.

Team Development & Succession Planning

Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance guidance to the sales team. Support team members in strategic negotiations and complex deal execution. Drive succession planning and continuous capability development.

Technical & Product Expertise

Demonstrate deep understanding of Applied HVAC systems and solutions. Lead technical presentations, proposals, and solution design for complex projects. Serve as a subject matter expert in high-level client discussions.

Operational Coordination

Collaborate with internal teams (Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance) to ensure seamless execution and delivery. Participate in performance reviews, cross-functional planning, and strategy sessions. Uphold Carrier's standards for ethics, Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S), and compliance.

Minimum Requirements

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

Minimum 10 years of experience in HVAC sales, with a focus on Applied systems.

Skills & Competencies

Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools. Strategic market insight and customer relationship management. Technical proficiency in HVAC systems and solutions. Agility, resilience, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic business environment. Collaborative, self-driven, and results-oriented mindset.
