We are now looking for a Senior Engineer - Applied Catalyst Technology, to join our team in Saudi at our Jubail Office and take responsibility for supporting our customers in Petrochemical applications

We are now looking for a Senior Engineer - Applied Catalyst Technology, to join our team in Saudi at our Jubail Office and take responsibility for supporting our customers in Petrochemical applications
Responsibilities
- Technical support to the sales engineers with main focus on syngas type catalysts and processes
- Professional commissioning supervision (including loading and activation) of catalysts at the customers plant sites
- Evaluation of catalyst performance based on industrial data
- Contribute to the continued development of our catalyst loading equipment and analysis devices
- Provide input for improvements of our simulation tools for catalyst performance evaluations and predictions
- Work closely with all regional departments of Engineering Services in the World
Requirements
- University degree in chemical engineering, process engineering or chemistry
- Basic understanding of heterogeneous catalysis from either lab or industrial experience
- Basic understanding of simulating chemical reactions using kinetic expressions
- Experience from using simulation programs such as Origin, gPROMS, Aspen Plus or CHEMCAD will be an advantage
- Very good command of spoken and written English
- Good knowledge of MS Office and possibly SAP
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-starter with a team mindset
