Application Specialist - Freight Forwarding

Job Purpose:

Seeking a talented and experienced Techno-Functional Consultant with expertise in Cargowise Freight Forwarding to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience and ideally CargoWise Specialist certification. We are looking for a passionate individual to leverage the CargoWise applications to drive business solutions. This role will work closely with the business stakeholders, vendors, partners, clients and the IT team to ensure works, changes, and enhancements are completed on time. This role will not strictly be limited to CargoWise applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

This role will play a crucial role in the Business Applications team supporting our freight forwarding business to run smoothly.


The idea candidate should have the ability to,


Gather/ Understand the business requirements and prepare the future design documents Identify/ provide solution in Cargowise for the business requirements Interact with the business in freight forwarding best practices Train the business users on Cargowise functionalities and its best practices approach. Manage and support the Cargowise application for multiple entities of the group organization Configure and setup cargowise process/ workflows/ functionalities for new/ existing locations Analyze the integration requirements and develop it with different third-party systems using eAdaptor mechanism. Customize cargowise reports/ developing new reports for business Attending helpdesk tickets on fixing Cargowise issues and implementing features Interact with internal and external stakeholders on resolving the issues/ requirements. Willing to travel to different office locations if required. Work after office hours when-ever the support required to resolve issues/ deploy features for the smooth business operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology, or related studies. Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in Cargowise as IT Consultant or Application Support Engineer Strong experience in Cargowise e-Adaptor and E2E integration developments. Well experience in gathering/ understating business requirements and preparing functional specification and design documents. Good experience and understanding of the Cargowise Application modules and its functionalities such as freight forwarding operations, customs, finance etc., Experienced with minimum 2 major Implementations and Support experience in Cargowise. Minimum 3 years of working experience in Cargowise Application as IT Consultant/ Application Support Engineer. Strong knowledge in Cargowise integration mechanism (eAdaptor), handling REST API in JSON, XML, WSDL, CSV etc., Strong knowledge in Cargowise report customization and developments for all business areas. Knowledge in MS SQL Server 2016 and above. Well knowledge in developing Power BI dashboards by connecting with Cargowise Database. Should have minimum Specialist certification in Cargowise.

Minimum Experience:

Minimum 6 years of IT experience. * Expertise in Cargowise Freight Forwarding.
