APPLICATION ENGINEER

Your Challenge

Your Main Tasks

• Technical sales support for the GCC and Asian markets. Support sales group with the selection of systems and configurations and layout

drawings appropriate to customer requests
\xe2\x80\xa2 Assist customers in the evaluation of proper tower crane configurations, loading, climbing sequences, and load calculation to support the customers
\xe2\x80\xa2 Engineering support for construction and special projects, including schematic CAD drawings and feasibility studies as well as analyse special installations not covered by cranes documentation
\xe2\x80\xa2 Provide customers with assessments, guidance, and repair procedures in cases of damage and/or non-standard circumstances
\xe2\x80\xa2 Analyze tower cranes based on various design specifications according to customer specifications or local authorities
\xe2\x80\xa2 Management of special crane engineering projects in GCC Countries and Asia/Pacific
\xe2\x80\xa2 Preparation of procedures for assembly/disassembly of tower cranes for incorporation into customer schedules
\xe2\x80\xa2 Prepare miscellaneous drawings, analyses, documentation and reports as required to support the WOLFFKRAN product line
\xe2\x80\xa2 Create configuration sheets for tower cranes based on contractual and engineering requirements

Your Profile
\xe2\x80\xa2 Degree in Structural Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
\xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to maintain complete confidentiality and discretion in business relationships
\xe2\x80\xa2 Accuracy, reliability, and flexibility
\xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in the lifting industry is an adavantage
\xe2\x80\xa2 Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
\xe2\x80\xa2 Strong technical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently while following corporate policies and procedures
\xe2\x80\xa2 Competent in the use of 2D CAD and 3D Solid Modelling software, ideally AutoCAD
\xe2\x80\xa2 Affinity for technical product expertise with tower cranes (capital equipment)
\xe2\x80\xa2 Experience working with an international multicultural business environment
\xe2\x80\xa2 Language fluency in English, German and Arabic would be added advantage
\xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations as well as
to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
\xe2\x80\xa2 Know how to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and other intercompany personnel
\xe2\x80\xa2 Skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
\xe2\x80\xa2 In-depth knowledge of engineering, sales and tower crane applications is a plus
\xe2\x80\xa2 Willingness to travel (approx. 25%)
