Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE:

1. Must have experience of Banking, SOA Delivery methodology, SOA Center of excellence and

implementation of SOA best practices

2. Knowledge of Banking Service standards such as ISO8583, IFX, Open Bank Project, ISO20022 and

SWIFT.

3. Core Service design experience that covers the following :

a. Design, develop, and implement APIs using IBM API Connect.

b. Ensure APIs are scalable, secure, and meet performance standards.

c. Proficiency in building RESTful services, XML/JSON using IBM API Connect.

d. Have worked on API Securities like OAuth, JWT, OpenID Connect.

e. Manage the full API lifecycle, including creation, deployment, and versioning.

f. Monitor and analyze API performance and usage.

g. Create and maintain comprehensive API documentation.

h. Provide support and troubleshooting for API-related issues.

i. Also worked on IBM Datapower and have strong knowledge on developing services.

j. Experience with Rest APIs

k. Experience with WebServices.

l. Experience with Implementing different Integration Design Patterns

m. Knowledge of SOA Principles & best practices

n. SDLC & SGLC processes

o. Creating HLD & LLD Documentation

4. Responsible for Implementing & delivering technical services for Multi-Tier & SOA Architecture

5. Contributed to best approach strategies for SOA implementation based on Service Analysis.

6. Prepare technical designs documents for multiple projects in ADIB.

7. Involved in inception/ strengthening of SOA practice.

8. Strong Hands-on Development Experience at the following Areas:

a. IBM Data Power Development & Administration

b. IBM API Connect Development & Administration

c. ODM Development & Administration

d. IBM ACE (IIB V11) & IIB V10.x Flow Development

e. ESQL Development

f. Java Development

g. Oracle/SQL DB Development

h. IBM MQ V9.x related Tasks

i. IBM WSRR

j. Different Integration Protocols (SFTP,TCP/IP,MQ,JMS, HTTPS,WS,REST..)

k. Security & Performance Best Practices

l. prepare IIB Scripts under Linux System

m. prepare MQ Scripts under Linux System

n. Experience with Testing tools like SOAPUI, RPT,RFT, Load runner & PostMan

o. Creates Unit Test Documents & Test case Scenarios

9. Understand ADIB business requirements.

10. Prepare IARs and related documents related to projects and tasks for approvals.

11. Support for UAT of projects and tasks including preparation of documents and approvals.

12. Track, resolve and report incidents and known errors through the approved Services.

13. Follow the mandatory and obligatory standards set by the management in delivering the services.

14. Completion of the assigned tasks to satisfy the Users' needs and within the agreed upon time parameters.

15. Execute the ad-hoc instructions or provide flexibility within ethical and professional standards from

line manager to achieve any exceptional business objectives, Internal IT Objectives related to ADIB

group including international expansion.

16. Support "go-live' and post 'go-live' activities for projects and any releases to production.

17. Support Disaster Recovery (DR) environment and ensure that DR requirements including related

documentation are met. Take part in DR test drills.

Specialist Skills / Technical Knowledge Required for this role:

As a Senior Developer must exhibit following special skills

? Certification in IIB v10 & MQ v9.1

? Hands on experience API Connect Data power

? J2EE Application

? MQ Explorer, SOAP UI, RFUtils,

? Websphere Service Repository & Registry Server

? DB Design with experience in Oracle & MS SQL

Previous experience:

Minimum 5 - 7 years of experience in SOA development activities of which minimum 2-4 years should be in a similar role in Banking / Financial industry.
