Api Banking Consultant
Job Description
API Banking Consultant:
Assess current banking systems and define API integration requirements.
Design and implement API-based solutions to support digital banking products and services.
Advise on API management platforms, security, compliance, and best practices.
Collaborate with business, technology, and partner teams to deliver scalable API solutions.
Provide guidance on Open Banking, regulatory standards (e.g., PSD2), and industry trends.
Support API documentation, developer onboarding, and ecosystem enablement.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in API banking, Open Banking, or fintech integration.
Strong understanding of API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, Mulesoft, Kong).
Familiarity with banking processes, payments, and regulatory frameworks.
Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON, OAuth2, and security standards.
Excellent stakeholder management and consulting skills.
