Robert Walters are currently working with a leading Manufacturing organisation who are searching for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join the business. As the AP Supervisor, you will play crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, optimizing payment processes, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any invoice discrepancies, escalating issues when necessary, and ensuring vendor inquiries are handled promptly.
Monitor and analyse accounts payable metrics, identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, assisting with financial reporting and analysis as needed.
Requirements:
Big 4 + industry experience.
ACCA, ACA, CPA qualified.
Experience managing a team of 3 or more.
Understanding of relevant accounting regulations and compliance standards.
