We're looking for a skilled Android Developer (2-5 years experience) to join our agile team building secure, high-performance native apps in Kotlin. You will be part of the team developing solutions for managed network providers, telecoms, enterprises, and governments- offering exposure to real-world scale, security, and system integration challenges.

Responsibilities

Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure native Android applications using Kotlin. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and QA testers to deliver high-quality features. Ensure application performance, responsiveness, and memory efficiency across a wide range of Android devices. Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and platform services (Firebase, Google Play Services). Follow coding standards and participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation. Debug and resolve application issues, crashes, and compatibility problems. Contribute to Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 2-5 years of hands-on experience in Android development using Kotlin. Proficient with Android SDK, Jetpack components, and Android architecture components (LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation). Experience with Android Studio, Gradle, and version control systems (Git). Good understanding of mobile design principles, offline storage, threading, and performance optimization. Experience in building apps that communicate with remote servers via APIs. Solid problem-solving, debugging, and unit testing skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with Jetpack Compose, Room Database, and Coroutines. Familiarity with MVVM/MVP architecture, modular app structure, and design patterns. Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, crash reporting tools (Firebase Crashlytics, Sentry). Understanding of Google Play submission process and app lifecycle management. Experience in Agile environments using tools like Jira, Bitbucket or Confluence. Exposure to Swift and Native iOS development.
