Analyst - Operational Risk Management.

JOB PURPOSE:

To provide the required support and assistance to the Operational Risk Managers in the implementation and execution of the Operational Risk framework and policies in order to ensure operational risks are managed within agreed parameters.

• Operational Risk Framework and Policy: Support in the implementation of the operational risk framework, policies and procedures to facilitate effective operational risk management on an enterprise level while escalating depicted issues to Operational Risk Managers in order to propose recommended changes.
• Risk Controls: Conduct testing of business continuity plans and key controls to ensure effective operation of plans.
• Data Gathering and Analysis: Coordinate the submission and consolidation of data from business units, ensure data accuracy and conduct analysis, identify variances in order to recommend remedial action.
• Reporting: Provide input in to management reports to keep internal stakeholder apprised of the status of operational risk.
• Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures: Adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders.
• Self-Management: Manage self in line with the bank\xe2\x80\x99s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own contribution to business performance.
• Customer Service: Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the bank\xe2\x80\x99s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions

Required Skills and Experience:

Minimum Experience: At least 3 years of experience in an operational risk environment Minimum

Qualifications: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration

Professional Qualifications Knowledge and Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Analytical skill
