About the job

Strategy, Growth and Investment team in Dubai is looking for a strong finance analyst that can support the core reporting and budgeting activities across investment, innovation, strategy, intelligence and business development.

This person will be trusted to deliver high standard of reporting quality, which will be used to drive business decision. And is also expected to have strong level of business partnerships with key stakeholders to better strengthen cross functional relationship with the finance department through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

What you\'ll be doing

Reporting and business partnering:

• Work closely with accounting and stakeholders to deliver high standards of accurate reporting on a monthly basis.
• Prepare analysis and recommendations on monthly financial figures from business units compared to budget and last year and issue reports as required by the management.
• Support on financials alignment with stakeholders, raise any risk on performance and advise on way forward.
• Work on process improvements across many initiatives (ex. Automation, dates and gates for cash injections, marketing spend tracker, etc.).
• Prepare the monthly report to management with accurate and meaningful financial highlights that drives decision making.
• Continuous alignment with group finance on calendars, deadlines and reporting requirements.
• Oversee cashflow and support positive cash movement to minimize funding needs.
• Support in building feasibility study for innovation new launches.

Budgeting and forecasting:

• Help develop financial strategic planning such as 3year plan, annual plan & quarterly plan updates as required.
• Build budget templates and apply forecasting mechanism based on historical trend or commercial inputs from stakeholders.
• Support in providing analysis and recommendations on annual and revised budgets, challenge assumption and propose revisions.
• Assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports.
• Consolidate budget across the vertical and provide timely insights to management adjust strategic direction.
• Timely upload the financials based on group deadlines with high level of accuracy.
• Support in building a comprehensive KPI\'s model (Financial & Business) in line with Company\'s objectives and captures all relevant info needed to manage the business.

What you\'ll need to succeed

• Education: Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Experience: 1- 2 years prior experience in finance or accounting preferred, but not required.
• Strong analytical and data management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in Hyperion and Power BI
• CPA or CFA is a plus
