Charterhouse are currently managing a Banking-related search, to identify an Analyst level Compliance specialist, to join their Middle Office Financial Crime desk. About the role
Due to the nature of the business cycle and current headcount limits, this role will run for an initial six-month contract period. Within a first line-of-defence function, this role shall be geared towards core areas of Client Due Diligence (CDD) and Anti-Bribery and Corruption (ABC) which form the overall Anti-Money Laundering (AML) provision and functionality within the compliance operation. This Analyst shall take ownership of managing the process and checking administrative function to initiate the support, contribution and evaluation, linking to these financial crime aspects, in association (via the front office) to client assessment for on-boarding and/or re-structuring agreements. About you
The client will look to recruit a junior professional whom is able to deliver a baseline knowledge, across areas of compliance-related activities and/or regulatory policy, within a banking and/or financial services framework. Applicants shall also be able to demonstrate the core principles, linking to AML disciplines within first line-of-defence, whilst being able to identity and report across areas of CDD and ABC processes and regulation. This Analyst shall also be expected to deliver precise reporting and/or escalation to the MLRO. In conjunction, the client will require a proactive and articulate individual whom can manage stakeholders whilst also inputting on any advisory points/issues.
