Job Purpose

To understand the purpose of the unit and the role within, let\'s note that the mission of the GCOO Business Management function is to make the GCOO function an enabler of technology and state-of-art processing for our business lines to better serve existing and potential FAB customers, globally. Group Chief Operating Officer\'s Business Management department entails 6 critical functions:

FABRIC (FAB\'s Research and Innovation Center) for providing the innovation tools and instilling the innovation culture in the way FAB operates while spearheading the exploration for the cutting-edge tech in banking

Program Management for large transformational programs related to Group Tech and Group Operations

Business Process Management for Process reengineering, Operations Support and group-wide process documentation

Shared Services governance and performance management for in/out-sourced centralized operations activities

Reporting and Financial Performance for budget control and projects\' financial impact analysis for all teams in GCOO.

GCOO strategy for steering tech and operations teams into the direction set by Group Strategy and aligning goals and team structures accordingly.

The GCOO Reporting and Financial Performance department will ensure the financial health of the GCOO division, working closely with project teams and Group Finance, building an objective picture of budgets, costs, financial opportunities and risks. Moreover, the projects\' business case documents will be tracked for impact realization and review.

This role will lead the business management to manage the overall GCOO budget, cost control, staff details and vendor interface for financials. It also includes planning, forecast and structuring the financials.

Transparent data flow in collaboration with data analytics and AI is critical for success. Similarly, collaboration with Finance team on budget and ongoing governance of financial performance is required. The aim is to provide transparency on costs, define pockets of opportunities in terms of financial uplift and propose initiatives to realize those. Ensure proper administrative support is extended to the other units of GCOO.

Key Accountabilities

Creates standard and ad hoc reporting for managers, Group Tech executives and other function.

Prepares financial management presentations for Senior IT Management

Oversee the maintenance of performance management metrics and support the preparation of monthly performance metrics

Support the team in providing long-term analysis for financial scenarios

Facilitate discussions with data owners and business partners on technology allocations and adjustments and execute changes

Perform data pulls and load data into the Technology Business Management tool

Work closely with technology, finance, and business teams to identify and facilitate ongoing data model maintenance and improvement

Perform business analyst functions in the assigned service line under the guidance of senior team members

Ensure all financial data is collected for the IT expense budget and provide IT leadership visibility into the budget variance for decision making

Working knowledge of relevant applications and solutions

Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills

Capitalize on team strengths and find ways to upskill where gaps exist

Leverage and align work to appropriate resources across the team to ensure work is completed in the most efficient and impactful way

Participate in projects for Technology Business Management within the assigned service line

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline

Minimum Experience

1 years\' relevant experience in similar positions of progressively increasing responsibilities in the Technology Specialist function

On a behavioral level the candidate should be relatable, trustworthy, taking initiative and calm under pressure
