Job Description
The Company Our client a Global Multi-national investment company. Initially as a risk management and fixed income institutional asset manager, our client is now one of the world\'s largest asset manager, with US $50 billion+ in assets under management as of 2022. The Role To assist with the origination and structuring of infrastructure projects and project financing, both debt and equity, that position as a major participant in the project finance and infrastructure development market.
- Development of various types of financial models to value debt and equity for mergers, acquisitions, capital raising and restructuring transactions (all from scratch, no templates)
- Working as a member of the Origination team on the structuring, identification and origination of suitable project financing transactions
- Undertaking the financial modelling of transactions
- Conduct preparation and review of materials used across transactions, including investment memoranda, management presentations and pitchbooks
- Perform due diligence, research, analysis, and documentation of live transactions
- Affinity for current events, critical issues, and relevant news
- Supporting the negotiation of complex financial structuring terms for infrastructure transactions
- Managing and supporting transactions through the research, due diligence, structuring, credit and documentation stages
- Liaising with financial institutions and external service providers to maintain strong working relationships
- Promoting as a major participant in the project finance market
- Building strong networks and close working relationships with the project finance industry
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of developments in project finance and ongoing changes to the regulatory environment
- Corporate finance experience (even at the junior most levels) is a must
- Minimum of 3 years\' experience
- Interest in infrastructure demonstrated through involvement in or exposure to pertinent infrastructure projects
- MBA (Associate position) or equivalent education, training and work-related experience
- Bachelor\'s degrees (Analyst position) from a target school, or equivalent
- Three or more years of experience (Associate position) in a corporate finance background, particularly on the quantitative side (must be in investment banking roles)
- Experience in a highly project focused transactional environment such as banking, law, engineering or project financial management
