Role Summary

Experienced engineer in AMI smart gas metering installation, operation and maintenance for ADNOC City Gas projects with strong expertise in natural gas pipeline systems, HSE compliance and field coordination. Skilled in troubleshooting, commissioning and ensuring project quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and execute installation, testing and commissioning of AMI smart gas meters in residential, commercial and industrial sites. Perform operation and maintenance of gas metering systems and network components. Conduct site surveys, review drawings and verify technical data before installation. Coordinate with ADNOC, contractors and field teams for smooth execution of daily activities. Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to gas meters, communication modules and data collection systems. Ensure HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) compliance during all site activities. Prepare and maintain project documentation, daily reports and installation records. Monitor meter reading accuracy, perform troubleshooting and assist in data validation and system integration. Support pipeline operations, leak detection and maintenance of the low-pressure natural gas network. Provide technical support during audits, inspections and customer site visits.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's Degree

in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related Engineering discipline.

3-8 years

of relevant experience in gas distribution systems, preferably with ADNOC or other utility projects in the UAE.

Technical Knowledge:

Proven experience in AMI smart gas metering systems (installation, operation and maintenance). Strong understanding of natural gas pipeline operation, pressure regulation and safety standards. Familiar with ADNOC and ADDC regulations and utility project documentation. UAE Driving License preferred. Excellent communication and coordination skills
