Responsibilities

Role in the Organization

Statement of the purpose of the position in the Company

o ALS Field Supervisor is responsible to ensure that Weatherford ALS are providing the highest quality of service with our operations to clients, with an emphasis on QHSE, and are maximizing prospective business opportunities within the marketplace through technical solutions, client support and increasing profitability to the Weatherford organization. ALS Field Supervisor is also responsible to train the local staff for carrying out the job independently on client location. Responsible for maintenance of the equipment to ensure the jobs being performed in safe manner. He is also responsible for rotation and utilization of the crew members.

The position to which the position reports in the Company

oThe ALS Field Supervisor reports directly to ALS Operations Manager

Position location and working arrangements (site or office / B2B / resident / rotation etc.)

o The Position location is office and field with Rotational Schedule.

Positions (title and seniority) of roles directly reporting to the application position

o The Position Title ALS Field Engineer, Junior Field Engineer, Senior Field Engineer directly report to the ALS Field Supervisor and functionally to the ALS Operations Manager.

o Ensure third party compliance with company procedures.

o Responsible for complying with WFT HSE policies, whilst ensuring co-workers carry out work in safe manner.

o Participate in the review and improvements of Supporting QA/QC Documentation.

o Train and examine the local staff for their development and learning

o Order the equipment and keep track of the orders required for operations

Core Competencies & Capabilities

o Leading Jet Pump operations.

o Provide technical expertise for ALS operations, on behalf of client requests and/or Weatherford's operations group.

o Provide well site engineering and office support as required. Common activities include; project management, Operations modeling, technical report writing, technical paper preparation, and technical presentations.

o Identify opportunities for improvement with field operations, with an emphasis on safety and quality.

o Being aware of customer activity and requirements, ensuring information held is up to date and accurate.

o Keeping an up to date database of work activity, past & present.

o Building relationships with client's representatives.

o Assist others in the group with technical support.

o Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by the Regional Engineering Manager & Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements, provided the instruction is reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfill these.

A schedule is set by Training and development in assessing a person's knowledge, skills and attitude (ability) against pre-defined standards.

The framework of Weatherford Competence Assurance Process (WCAP) is dictated by the principle that as employee tenure with the organization increased exposure and more complex activities.

Training level coverage:

o Product Line Core - To have high level experience and knowledge of core processes, basic processes, products, services or equipment.

Qualifications

+ Minimum of 5 years' experience related to oilfield operations

+ Experience of working in a high H2S oil & gas facility is desirable.

+ Experience of working in a project environment

+ Experience working with and training subordinate staff

+ To have Engineering Bachelor or higher degree in the same field.

+ Good English language communication skills, spoken & written

+ Knowledge of: MS Computer Software including Word, Excel , Outlook, Access and PowerPoint

+ Knowledge of all aspects of safety management

+ Technical: Appropriate standard of technical knowledge as defined by competencies

+ Possess strong customer service skills, i.e. listening, follow-through, and willingness to help.

+ Good understanding and knowledge of QHSE Management systems.

+ Basic working knowledge surrounding occupational health and safety and corporate regulatory compliance.

+ Good understanding and knowledge of web-based ERP systems (JD Edwards).

+ Good command on designing software for artificial lift systems.
