This role involves performing large and highly complex aircraft maintenance and repairs in accordance with technical orders, standards, regulations, and job guides. The technician will perform O, I, and D Level maintenance when applicable. Responsibilities

Follow daily operations related to own job to ensure work continuity. Inspect, troubleshoot, service, and maintain large and complex aircraft systems, components, and aerospace equipment. Perform multifaceted aircraft and component inspections, interpret findings, and determine corrective actions. Identify and repair major aircraft corrosion, and analyze causes for future prevention. Conduct functional tests of components and systems post-repair. Review maintenance data to identify trends and improve effectiveness. Provide on-the-job training and coaching to technicians. Act as a technical expert/advisor for resolving maintenance issues and minimizing downtime. Operate and maintain arresting gear and associated systems for aircraft carrier operations. Test and maintain launch and recovery equipment. Maintain logs of aircraft launches, recoveries, and equipment maintenance. Inspect aircraft before launch and after recovery, and sign off on airworthiness. Operate Ground Support Equipment (GSE) as needed. Identify maintenance and troubleshooting needs during aircraft recovery. Prepare reports related to deficiencies, maintenance analysis, and technical data. Comply with safety, quality, and environmental policies. Follow departmental policies, procedures, and instructions. Perform other duties as assigned. #J-18808-Ljbffr
