We at Al Sharqi Al Sharqi Shipping Co LLC are seeking an experienced and driven Air Operations Associate to oversee and manage the efficient and seamless execution of all air cargo operations for our company. This role entails coordinating air freight logistics, ensuring timely delivery of goods, and maintaining strong relationships with partners and stakeholders in the aviation and logistics industry. Position is Ajman based. Key Responsibilities: Air Freight Operations Management: \xc2\xb7 Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising air freight shipments, while ensuring compliance with international aviation regulations and industry standards. \xc2\xb7 Work closely with airlines, airfreight forwarders, and customs agencies to facilitate cargo space booking and transportation schedules. \xc2\xb7 Help monitor flight schedules to ensure timely departure and arrival of shipments, meeting customer demands effectively. Documentation and Compliance: \xc2\xb7 Aid in the preparation, review, and management of air freight documentation, including air waybills, certificates of origin, customs declarations, and other necessary paperwork. \xc2\xb7 Ensure adherence to aviation regulations, import/export guidelines, and safety protocols in all documentation processes. Partnership and Vendor Management: \xc2\xb7 Support in building and maintaining partnerships with airlines, cargo carriers, and service providers to negotiate favorable terms, rates, and services. \xc2\xb7 Collaborate with procurement teams to identify reliable vendors and partners for air cargo services. Cargo Tracking and Monitoring: \xc2\xb7 Assist in implementing tracking systems and tools to monitor cargo status and location during transit. \xc2\xb7 Provide support in identifying potential disruptions or delays in shipments and contribute to initiating contingency plans as needed. Budgeting and Cost Control:

• Develop and manage budgets for air cargo operations, covering flight costs, handling fees, and associated expenses.
• Identify cost-effective solutions and optimize routes and methods to enhance operational efficiency.

Risk Management:

• Identify potential risks in air cargo operations and establish strategies to mitigate these risks effectively.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes to adapt strategies to changing conditions.

Leadership and Team Development:

• Lead and manage a team of air operations professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance assessments.
• Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills: \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master\'s degree preferred). \xc2\xb7 Relevant experience of 1-2 years in air operations, airfreight forwarding, or aviation logistics, with a focus on supporting operational activities. \xc2\xb7 Understanding of international aviation regulations, customs procedures, and trade compliance. \xc2\xb7 Strong communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders. \xc2\xb7 Familiarity with relevant software and tools for cargo tracking, documentation, and reporting. \xc2\xb7 Attention to detail and organizational skills, particularly in supporting complex logistics processes. \xc2\xb7 Ability to support team efforts, learn quickly, and adapt to changes in a dynamic environment.
