Key Responsibilities

Install and assemble HVAC ductwork per blueprints, using sheet metal, fiberglass, or flexible materials Measure, cut, shape, seal, and insulate ducts to ensure proper airflow and prevent leaks Fit supports, brackets, connect to vents, grilles, diffusers, and HVAC units Test systems for airflow performance, detect and repair issues Perform maintenance and repair of existing ductwork Ensure installations comply with safety, quality, and building codes Collaborate with HVAC technicians and other trades, and provide customer support diploma or GED; HVAC or vocational training preferred Prior experience in HVAC duct installation or maintenance; apprenticeships acceptable Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specs Skilled in using hand and power tools (metal shears, rivet guns, welding, etc.) Knowledge of sealing and insulating methods to optimise airflow Strong attention to detail, diagnostics, and problem-solving skills Good communication and customer service manners ca.jooble.org Knowledge of local building codes and safety regulations womencareerhub.com Valid driver's license and reliable transport
Certifications (Preferred or Required)

HVAC certification or diploma in HVAC systems Any local licensing as required (e.g., UAE HVAC regulations)

Work Environment

On-site in residential, commercial, and industrial locations Exposure to confined spaces, heights, dust, and variable temperatures ($e.g.$ mechanical rooms, rooftops) May require outdoor work and coordination with multiple contractors
