We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated

AFR Sourcing Lead/Officer

to join our team in Ras Al Khaimah. The ideal candidate will play a key role in strengthening our Alternative Fuels and Raw Materials (AFR) section by increasing the volume of AFR products, identifying new sourcing opportunities, and improving the overall efficiency of the AFR supply chain.

You will work closely with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure a reliable, cost-effective, and compliant sourcing process that supports our sustainability and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Explore, identify, and source AFR materials to support supply chain efficiency and volume growth. Conduct in-depth market research to identify new suppliers, emerging AFR materials, and cost-saving opportunities. Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent and high-quality supply. Monitor market trends and regulatory changes that may affect sourcing strategies and compliance requirements. Analyze sourcing data, KPIs, and performance metrics to identify gaps and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sourcing goals with operational and environmental strategies. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards, especially concerning hazardous waste handling.

Qualifications & Skills:

3-5 years of proven experience in AFR sourcing, waste management, or related supply chain roles. Solid understanding of hazardous material handling and waste management processes. Strong background in conducting market research and supplier analysis. Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements impacting AFR sourcing and waste management. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills. Strong organizational and time-management abilities. Able to work independently and within cross-functional teams. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Environmental Science, or a related field (preferred). Prior experience in the industrial or manufacturing sector is an advantage.
