Title:AFCAP V UAE: Lead IT Systems Administrator

This position is full time, based in the UAE, and will require the employee to travel to all AFCAP V project locations in various countries.

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the administration of one or more of the following data systems: Computer systems hardware, software, information systems & peripheral equipment such as servers, desktops, printers, and storage devices. Maintains, installs, upgrades, and configures data systems, administers operating systems, and maintains basic security and recovery procedures such as scheduling and backups. Under general direction, uses specialized knowledge or skills to solve complex and unique problems, or direct the daily activities of a business, technical support, or functional support team. Establishes priorities for the completion of assigned tasks. Uses judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices. May direct resources, prioritize tasks, and provide guidance to less experienced team members. Relies upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of field to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategy. Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 7+ years of experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES: Physical requirements include lifting up to 35lb, team lifting up to 50lbs, climbing, extended sitting, or standing, stooping, stretching, and bending. Work may require using and wearing personal protective equipment such as, hearing and eye protection, Day-to-day physical requirements may involve standard office activities including sitting/standing for extended periods of time, attending meetings, use of keyboard and mouse repetitively, lifting and carrying less than 20 lbs. frequently, etc. Work requires moderate physical exertion including walking to operating areas and walking up stairs.

WORK LOCATION: Located in UAE

PREFERRDED QUALIFICATIONS: Prior IT experience working overseas within a LOGCAP or AFCAP program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Must be a US Citizen. Must have a US Passport with minimum one year availability. Must be capable of meeting/maintaining deployment medical and dental requirements. Must have at least two years of prior experience working overseas. Must have valid driver's license and good driving record. Must have and maintain a valid U. S. SECRET Security Clearance or must be able to acquire a Secret Clearance.
