Job Description
The Advanced Paramedic is responsible for the care, treatment and movement of patients and maintaining self, vehicles, equipment and station in a manner fit to respond to that role. He or she will act as clinical leaders to develop positive working relationships with other staff and stakeholders; internal and external, to ensure seamless delivery of care and to optimize outcomes for their patients Attend to patients in a professional courteous and compassionate manner using best practice including compliance with Clinical Practice Guidelines.
QUALIFICATION, LICENSURE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SPECIAL SKILLS:
- Bachelor in Science in Emergency & Trauma Care Technology; or Diplomas of higher education and foundation degree programmes in paramedic science and paramedic practice; Nursing Background is preferable but not mandatory
- With current courses completion in:
- Basic Life Support Provider Course
- Advance Cardiac Life Support Provider Course
- International Trauma Life Support Provider Course
- With at least five (5) years of experience as a paramedic
- Current Advance Paramedic license from DCAS
- A caring and outgoing personality
- Good communication skills
- The ability to make swift decisions and stay calm
- A good level of physical fitness
- Good navigational skills
- Resilience & stamina
- Experience 5 Years
- Gender Any
- Qualification Bachelor Degree
