Job Purpose

:

To ensure the safe and effective execution of Electrical and Instrumentation activities in ADNOC-operated facilities, in compliance with ADNOC's Permit to Work (PTW) system and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

:

Act as the

Job Performer (JP)

under the ADNOC Permit to Work system. Execute electrical and instrumentation tasks (installation, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance) as per project specifications and standards. Prepare job hazard analysis (JHA) and ensure that all hazards are identified and mitigated. Ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved work permits, method statements, and risk assessments. Coordinate with Area Authority, Permit Holder, and other site personnel to ensure safe job execution. Maintain tools, test equipment, and ensure proper calibration of instrumentation devices. Follow all ADNOC safety and operational procedures strictly. Report any incidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions immediately. Maintain daily work reports and documentation as per ADNOC requirements.

Required Qualifications & Certifications

:

Minimum

2 years of experience

in Electrical & Instrumentation works in the Oil & Gas industry. ADNOC-approved Job Performer Certificate (preferred); if not, must pass ADNOC interview and obtain approval. Valid H2S and Confined Space Entry certification. PTW System Training & Certification (ADNOC or equivalent). Fire Watch / Gas Tester (if applicable to scope). Diploma / ITI in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering (preferred).

Skills and Competencies

:

Strong understanding of ADNOC PTW system and safety protocols. Familiarity with Electrical & Instrumentation drawings (P&ID, loop diagrams, schematics). Excellent communication skills in English. Ability to work in a high-risk environment with a strong focus on safety. Physically fit and capable of working in field conditions.
