Job Summary:
The primary purpose of the Admissions Counselor role is to facilitate and manage the admissions process at AURAK. This involves counseling prospective students and transfer applicants, responding to inquiries, evaluating applications, and building professional relationships to enhance recruitment efforts. The Admissions Counselor also plays a crucial role in ensuring that the university\'s admissions policies and standards are upheld while contributing to the development and execution of the admissions plan and collaborating on outreach and admissions-related projects.

Job Purpose & Responsibilities The primary purpose of the Admissions Counselor role is to facilitate and manage the admissions process at AURAK. This involves counseling prospective students and transfer applicants, responding to inquiries, evaluating applications, and building professional relationships to enhance recruitment efforts. The Admissions Counselor also plays a crucial role in ensuring that the university\'s admissions policies and standards are upheld while contributing to the development and execution of the admissions plan and collaborating on outreach and admissions-related projects. Minimum Qualification and Education Bachelor\'s degree in Business or any other relevant field. Required Knowledge and Skills
  • Must have the energy and drive to work in a fast-paced office.
  • Experience in University clubs or organizations.
  • The ability to work odd hours and some weekends
  • Knowledge of issues pertaining to areas of student\xe2\x80\x99s recruitment and admissions
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude that will promote a healthy cultural climate in Admissions.
  • Student Interaction skills
  • Strong interpersonal and writing skills are necessary
Work Experience 2 years of experience in Admissions and Student Recruitment, is preferred. Language proficiency required Proficiency in English and Arabic (both spoken and written) is required. Competencies
