Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative/Accountant to join our team. This position plays a critical role in managing financial transactions, providing administrative support, and ensuring the smooth operation of our organization. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting principles and possess excellent administrative and communication skills. Responsibilities: Financial Management: Maintain financial records and ensure accuracy of financial transactions.
Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve any related issues.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Administrative Support:Provide administrative support to the team, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining calendars.
Prepare and distribute official documents, reports, and presentations.
Organize and maintain filing systems, both electronic and physical.
Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for staff when required.
Assist in organizing company events, meetings, and conferences. Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
Prepare and submit financial reports and statements as required.
Assist in the preparation of audit files and support external auditors during the audit process.
Generate periodic management reports to support decision-making processes. Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, human resources, and operations, to ensure smooth coordination and effective communication.
Respond to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial and administrative matters.
Maintain strong professional relationships with vendors, clients, and partners. Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting, finance, or administrative roles.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial management, and bookkeeping.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of UAE accounting regulations and practices is a plus.
  • Professional certifications such as ACCA, CMA, or CPA are desirable.
