Aldar Education is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant - (Temporary) to support our growing family of owned and operated schools in the UAE. Due to planned current and future expansion we are looking to add to our Government Relations Team supporting our British, US and IB curricula network of schools. The successful candidate will be closely aligned with our core values and ethos and possess a genuine understanding and appreciation of the values of the region. Responsibilities: Job Purpose: To effectively provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation in the organisation To work independently within its designated functions Main Duties: Responsible for providing administrative assistance to the management team Act as the point of contract between the department and internal/external contacts Manage diaries of team members, schedule internal and external meetings Assist in planning itineraries, including booking travel and accommodation Create meeting agendas, take minutes, and record summaries of actions to be taken Compose correspondence, proofread documents for accuracy and completeness and follow up on actions Complete petty cash, reimbursement, and requisitions forms Assist in all aspects of event planning Coordinate projects and spreadsheets with precise attention to detail Ensures strict confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism at all times Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Assist with tasks assigned as and when required by the management team Undertake any other reasonable duties within the overall function Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Proficient in operating PC, Photocopier, and various office machines, including working knowledge of prevailing popular application software and spreadsheets. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, and Outlook 365 Minimum Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar industry Job Specific Knowledge & Skills: Fluent English communication skills, written and oral Analysing information and reporting skills Arabic speaker is preferable Strong interpersonal skills to aid in daily contact with parents in a diverse multi-cultural environment Proactive Excellent office management skills What We Offer: Aldar Academies are a family of world-class, child centered, and innovative schools based in the UAE.
