Job Description

Library Maintenance and Notification



Maintain a library of operational significant documents for staff compliance with regulations. Monitor document validity and due date of future documents bringing to the attention of Management pertinent information contained within amended documents. Receive, register, and check completeness of incoming AIM documents and amendments from other States including AIP, AIP Supplement, Aeronautical Information Circulars, and NOTAM Summaries. Receive, register, and check incoming ICAO Publications including Annexes, Documents, and Circulars. Acquire documents required for operational purposes within SZC or by the UAE Aviation industry. Notify GCAA-SZC users of amendments to electronic AIM document library contents. Notify GCAA users of amendments to UAE AIP on the GCAA website and GCAA portal. Review all the quality reports related to AIM publications. Developing and implementing policies and procedures specific to the aeronautical information library.

Document Management



Maintain records of relevant reports, business processes, and general correspondence to ensure proper document management. Update and monitor training and competency records of the AIM staff to fulfill the regulatory certification requirements. Coordinate and ensure that AIM learning requirements are captured in the ANS Learning Management system. Develop and maintain a number of AIM service statistics to maintain a high level of service standards.

Policies, Systems, Processes, and Procedures



Develop and maintain AIM business processes and related KPIs Develop and provide input to various systems, system upgrade testing, and reporting bugs such as , AIM Electronic Library, Training and Competency Recording System, Electronic Content Management System, GCAA e-services and website, and ANS Learning Management System. Implement ANS systems, processes, and procedures so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high-quality Aeronautical Information Services to the national and international civil aviation industry in accordance with the customer services standards. Managing catalogue records for aeronautical information.

Customer relations



Handle AIM customers' requests for AIP and charts. Prepare and coordinate invoices including delivery charges and dispatch requested product after payment is confirmed.

Knowledge and Experiences:



Bachelor degree with minimum 1 years' experience preferably in similar environment or as defined in the grading matrix
