Admin cum Accounts Assistant

Job Summary:



The Admin cum Accounts Assistant will play a dual role by managing both administrative and financial tasks to ensure smooth daily operations. The role involves handling office administration, supporting the accounts department, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate should be organized, proactive, and skilled in multitasking.

Key Responsibilities:Administrative Duties:



Manage office supplies and maintain inventory levels. Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails, calls, and correspondence. Organize and schedule meetings, appointments, and events. Maintain and update company records, databases, and filing systems. Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and service providers for office needs. Assist in preparing and distributing official documents like memos, reports, and letters.

Accounts Duties:



Prepare, issue, and follow up on invoices and quotations. Record and manage financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable. Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records. Support payroll processing by compiling and verifying employee timesheets. Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and preparation of financial reports. Help prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Other Duties:



Provide support to senior management in administrative and financial tasks. Coordinate with internal departments to streamline operations. Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:



Education:

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

1-2 years of experience in a similar role, combining administrative and accounting functions.

Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or Zoho Books). Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and accuracy in financial and administrative tasks.

Preferred Skills:



Familiarity with VAT filing and compliance (if applicable). Experience with ERP systems. Basic knowledge of HR functions.

Working Conditions:



Office-based role with standard working hours. Occasional extended hours during month-end closures or deadlines.

Salary Range:



Competitive, based on qualifications and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
