The Role

We are seeking an Adjunct Faculty in

Innovation and Technology Management

to deliver high-quality teaching on undergraduate and postgraduate modules within the Faculty of Business and Law.
The successful candidate will contribute to module delivery, leadership, student support, and academic development across a range of Innovation and Technology Management subjects. Teaching is expected to be innovative, research-informed, and aligned with UK higher education standards.
The role will include teaching, assessment, academic administration, and active contribution to enhancing the curriculum and overall student learning experience.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Teach and assess modules in Innovation and Technology Management at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Lead allocated modules and ensure content remains current, student-focused, and aligned with industry and research developments. Prepare and deliver engaging, innovative teaching sessions, workshops, and seminars. Support students through academic guidance, feedback, and mentorship. Contribute to module and programme development in close cooperation with programme and faculty teams. Participate fully in the University's quality assurance processes and follow all academic guidelines. Create meaningful industry engagement opportunities for students where appropriate. Undertake administrative duties related to teaching, assessment, and student support. Collaborate effectively with academic and professional staff across the Faculty and University. Promote an inclusive learning environment that reflects DMU's commitment to equality, diversity, and respect.

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications

A relevant

Bachelor's degree

(undergraduate degree) in Innovation and Technology Management or a related field (required). A relevant

Master's degree

(postgraduate degree) or professional qualification in Innovation and Technology Management (required). A

PhD in Innovation and Technology Management

(preferred). Attested qualifications with

UAE Ministry of Education equivalency

(mandatory requirement).

Experience

Experience teaching Innovation and Technology Management or related subjects in a higher education institution, preferably within the UK system, for 2-4 years (required). Experience in curriculum management and development (desirable).

Knowledge & Expertise

Candidates must demonstrate strong knowledge in areas such as:Innovation Strategy Change Management Entrepreneurship and New Ventures Business Model Innovation Design Thinking for Innovation Product/Service Innovation Management Digital Transformation Information Technology Management Additional knowledge in statistical software such as
