Learning Support Assistant for a pretigious school in Al Barsha.

Start date: ASAP

Salary 4-6k per month

Monday-Thursday: 7:30AM - 3:30PM, Friday: 12:30

Seeking for a highly skilled and proactive Learning Support Assistant to support a Year 3 student with ADHD who is performing well academically but requires targeted support in the classroom. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with ADHD and be confident in promoting emotional regulation, social integration, and independent learning.

The candidate must;

have excellent spoken, written and reading in English.

hold a UAE and home police clearance

Valid Visa and medical insurance

experience and knowledge on ADHD

2 professional references from previous schools they have worked in.

hold own visa.

Key responsibilities:

1:1 support to help the student stay focused, attentive, and on task in class.

Assist with emotional regulation using positive behavior strategies when the student becomes overwhelmed.

Support social skills and peer interaction during class and break times.Help the student manage and complete written work, especially in literacy, where he finds tasks more demanding.

Encourage independent learning and reduce reliance on adult support.

Work closely with the teacher and SENCO to follow and implement IEPs and support strategies.

Give regular updates on the student's progress and wellbeing.Foster a calm, structured, and supportive learning environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
