The Role:


Oxfam Great Britain is looking for an Adaptive MEAL and Impact Evaluation Advisor to lead the design, commissioning and implementation of impact evaluations and adaptive MEAL initiatives for OGB and the MENA region programmes. The role provides specialised MEAL support to MENA country and regional teams, promotes learning spaces and mechanisms to ensure knowledge generation and use, including facilitating learning and reflection processes, and provide tools, guidance, and best practices for documenting learning. It provides adaptive MEAL and impact evaluation thought leadership for OGB and MENA teams, including methodological innovation and influencing of policy and practice. The role will support design of innovative next generation thinking around MEAL practice and impact evaluations.

What we are looking for:


Our next Adaptive MEAL and Impact Evaluation Advisor will have an in-depth understanding of/training in feminist leadership, good understanding, commitment and ideally experience embedding decolonial, safe, anti-racist, intersectional feminist and partner led approach in our work. You will have a strong track record of leading/ implementing evidence generation initiatives including for complex programme portfolios. You will have the ability to design and implement robust evaluation methodologies and MEAL systems and conducting both qualitative and quantitative data analysis using statistical packages such as STATA and SPSS. You show deep commitment to and experience with decolonial, safe, anti-racist, intersectional feminist and partner led research. You have excellent communication skills and a high level of analytical and strategic thinking.
