Role Objective:
To render assistance in developing project updates and bid package estimate documents.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Calculates various statistical data quantity take-offs, material price list, labor costs per man hour, equipment etc. related to the Electrical scope within a given tender.
- Assists with obtaining scopes of work and pricing from subcontractors/ suppliers.
- Assists is closing bids.
- Maintains files of working documents for back-up to estimating figures.
- Assists in the training and development of personnel in the Estimation function.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering field
- Minimum of 3 years' relevant experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, self-motivated, and enthusiastic about challenges and new initiatives
- Customer-focused with high attention to detail and execution excellence
- Proficient in computer use and fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Good knowledge of estimating techniques, cost control, and material pricing
