Responsibilities

Performing Acoustic laboratory and site tests for facade systems in accordance with relevant international standards such as ASTM, AAMA, CWCT, BS EN etc., understanding the project requirements
Preparing the test method statements and reports, reviewing the project specific ITPs and risk assessments
Understand the project requirements and preparation of test rig for installation as per the drawings
Implementation of quality related activities such as personnel training, equipment maintenance/calibration, face quality audits, and manage the laboratory accreditation programs such as UKAS, IAS etc
Assign tasks to laboratory personnel and define procedures to be followed, review test results & data, and provide technical guidance/ recommendations
People skills to maintain relations and interactions with clients, and vendors
Skills / Qualifications
---------------------------
Bachelor's degree in engineering with good working knowledge in aluminum curtain walls, unitized systems, window / doors systems, sliding system, louvers, balustrade/handrails. Skylights, partitions, roofing systems etc
Minimum 4 years' experience in Facade and Aluminum industry, especially in testing industry with good knowledge in relevant acoustic, testing standards and regulations, interpretation and effective communication of test procedures, specifications and results with team members, clients, consultants, specifiers etc
Excellent verbal, written, communication and leadership skills, along with computers and software skills required for the role
People skills to maintain relations and interactions with clients, and vendors
Have a valid UAE driving license and ready to travel to sites when required
