As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our financial processes. You'll be responsible for ensuring timely collections, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service. Your expertise in accounting principles and financial software will empower you to analyze accounts, reconcile discrepancies, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our revenue cycle management. What you'll do

Manage the accounts receivable process by tracking outstanding invoices and ensuring timely payments. Perform account reconciliations to resolve discrepancies and maintain accurate financial records. Utilize our accounting software for data entry and reporting. Collaborate with the collections team to handle medical collections, negotiate payment plans, and address client inquiries. Analyze accounts for credit risk and perform credit analysis to support informed decision-making. Prepare journal entries and maintain compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act). Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns related to billing and payment processing. Support the finance team with additional bookkeeping tasks as needed, including accounts payable functions.

Basic qualifications

Proficient in double-entry bookkeeping and financial concepts. Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

Experience in public accounting or non-profit accounting environments. Knowledge of governmental accounting practices is a plus.
