Responsibilities
: As an accounts receivable specialist, you will maintain the accuracy of legers and financial records through tasks including:
  • Creating and sending invoices and credit notices.
  • Enrolling clients in direct debit.
  • Managing incoming payments on invoices including reconciling all transactions.
  • Resolving outstanding statements and sending collections statements including proactively reaching out to debtors based on priority and escalating as required.
  • Updating account information on client accounts.
  • Preparing and distributing reports of bank account status, debtor status and others as required.
  • Assisting with audits as required.

  • Ability to problem solve and make decisions.
  • Calm under pressure with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to work on own or within a team environment.
  • Self-motivated to find solutions to customer issues under guidance from senior members.
  • Ability to balance workload and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of typical accounting, ERP platforms including Sage 200, 300 or Intacct, MS Dynamics, Netsuite, SAP, etc.

  • Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers and stakeholders.
  • An understanding of when escalation is required.

Experience and Education: Minimum 1 year working in bookkeeping, accounting or billing office.
Location:
Your primary work location with be your home. Applicants in Europe, UK, USA and UAE are welcome to apply.
Working hours:
The successful candidate is expected to be available for work between the hours of 9am and 6pm GMT. Work outside these normal hours will be required from time to time.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
