Job Description
ACCOUNTS & PROCUREMENT OFFICER Disclaimer: *Work Location is in Shakhbout City. *This is an immediate post and candidate should be able to join immediately. Required Qualifications:
- MUST be fluent in ARABIC and ENGLISH (oral and written)
- MUST have valid UAE Driving License
- MUST be knowledgeable in using Microsoft Excel
- MUST have at least 4 years experience in construction accounting
- MUST have excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- MUST be willing to extend assistance to other departments
- Preferably Male Candidate with keen attention to details, good analytical and strategic skills and have strong problem solving skills
- Experience in Focus 9 Accounting System is an advantage
- Prepares Purchase Order and Subcontractor Agreement and facilitates the approval with Engineers
- Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors thru emails/calls and maintain good relationship with them
- Ensure company procurement policies and procedures are followed
- Organize supplier invoices, delivery notes, completion certificates and ensure these documents are complete all the time
- Facilitates the approval of invoices with engineers and ensure each invoice is tagged in proper project cost
- Maintain and monitor supplier and subcontractor balances and endorse payment request
- Perform monthly supplier and subcontractor accounts reconciliation
- Assist in the preparation of tender documents
- Acts as Bank Coordinator (submits to/receive from bank related documents)
- Maintain and monitor client documents and contracts
- Post accounting transactions
- Support chief accountant in monthly reports
- Other responsibilities that may be assigned by the management.
- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
- Bachelor\'s (Required)
- accounting in construction: 4 years (Required)
