Accountant and Operations Assistant \xe2\x80\x93 Dubai, UAE Syntra Global LLC FZ is a fast growing company, providing Inspection, Packaging, Processing and Automation for the Food & Beverage Industry in the Middle east region. We are looking for multitasker, dynamic young individual, who would work as an Accountant and Operations Assistant to manage the below tasks. Accounting Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Manage all accounting transactions, Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings. \xc2\xb7 Prepare budget forecasts. Publish financial statements in time \xc2\xb7 Reconcile accounts payable and receivable. Ensure all payments are done and received as per plan. Prepare timely reports, cross check and coordinate with accounting firm to process all taxes. \xc2\xb7 Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements. Report on the company\xe2\x80\x99s financial health and liquidity \xc2\xb7 Audit, cross check and process all financial transactions and documents, including salaries, salary slips, utility bills, reimbursements claim, petty cash and vendor payments. \xc2\xb7 Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary \xc2\xb7 Comply with financial policies and regulations Operations & Sales support \xc2\xb7 Manages daily operations, Issue invoices, PO, import and export documents to customers, suppliers along with internal & external partners. \xc2\xb7 Provide operational support including data entry, preparing quotes, report maintenance, e-mailing, answer telephones, file paperwork, scan documents. \xc2\xb7 Support vendor relations by coordinating with Accounting Firms, Logistics & Shipping vendors, Travel and visa vendor, Marketing & Social media agencies etc. \xc2\xb7 Participate and coordinate for events, exhibitions, compiling data to support the sales team and help on follow up with customers to arrange meetings and visits for sales team. \xc2\xb7 Prospect data calling to potential customers and connect to technical sales team. \xc2\xb7 Maintain Sales pipeline reports with regular updates and share it will sales team to push for higher revenues. Requirements and skills \xc2\xb7 Work experience of minimum 3 years in UAE as an Accountant. \xc2\xb7 Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles \xc2\xb7 Hands-on experience with accounting software like Wafeq, FreshBooks and QuickBooks \xc2\xb7 Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP\xe2\x80\x99s and pivot tables \xc2\xb7 Experience with general ledger functions, P&L, B/S, Vat filing etc. \xc2\xb7 Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills \xc2\xb7 Graduate in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree. \xc2\xb7 Strong coordination & communication skills, including written and verbal. \xc2\xb7 Multi-tasking mindset, flexible, adaptable and quick learner approach. \xc2\xb7 Team player, grow together mindset.
