Accounts Manager / Financial Controller
Job Description
Provide strategic direction to the assigned companies through strategy formulation, decision making, forecast/budgeting and its implementation/monitoring.
Monitor and analyze KPIs of the staff.
Ensure that Financial and Accounting policies & procedures are in accordance with the UAE statutory regulations.
Expert knowledge in VAT/CT and other regulatory requirement as per UAE laws.
Ensure that all accounting records are properly and timely maintained, reporting cycles and other associated engagements are successfully performed in an effective and timely manner.
Verify and Approve-Periodic Financial statements, monthly internal reports etc
Finalize annual financial statements/ periodic financial statements.
Prepare financial projections and budgets in line with business plan.
Ensure implementation of proper accounting system for bookkeeping, operational support/MIS as per best industry practices.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as Head of Finance or Similar role
In depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices.
Proficient in the use of MS office and financial management software.
3+ years' of professional accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
CPA preferred
