Job Title Accounts Manager
Description
Responsibilities:
- Manage and ensure efficient execution of all accounts payable functions
-Performing accounting duties throughout the project, such as preparing invoices, estimating cash flow, and signing off on purchase orders.
- Secure financial information by completing database backups, and protect operations by keeping financial information confidential.
-Prepare and review financial statements
-Account and cost reconciliation
-Manage liquidity and cash flow
-Ensure timely, accurate closing of full sets of accounts, budget & cash flow and consolidation
-Analyzing all transactions and working unforeseen costs into the budget.
-Oversee accounting personnel and departments
-Work with banks, sureties as the company representative
-Perform accounting closeout procedures on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Keeping a record of all project finances for internal/external auditing and tax purposes.
-Payment of company utilities and other operating expenses.
-Ownership of petty cash funds with regular reporting.
-Submission of VAT returns
-Accurately track income and expenses
-Compile monthly payroll files for timely payment.
-Performs other duties as assigned by the Management
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accountancy of Finance
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role based in the UAE
- Proficient with MS Office
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations.
-Supervision and employee relations
-Highly organized and pro-active and can work with minimal supervision
-Planning and problem solving
-Attention to detail
