Job Description

REPORTS TO: Group CFO (as direct line manager) The Accounts & Fulfillment Manager is a key role within the Back-Office team of Tahboub Holding. This role oversees the complete accounting & fulfillment functions for the Group.
The role-holder will manage / supervise and lead - Mid Level Accountants / Regional Accountants / Junior Accountants / Data Entry Specialist stationed at Local and Regional Offices of the Group.
The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles, has worked in a similar Group environment, and is able to work comfortably with numbers and is highly attentive to details.
Actively assist the Group CFO to build and develop the Finance Department. To maintain accurate and timely (Monthly) Management Accounts, liaising with external Auditors, Cash Flows, Cash Forecast, Cash Management, Budgets & Controls and ensure statutory compliances. To perform any other duties which are assigned by the Group CFO from time to time and the Management.
Accounting Responsibilities:
Monthly Reports (MIS) for UAE and KSA businesses and present to the Management on the set date within the Monthly Review Calendar, this shall include;
(i) Statement of Comprehensive Income - Brand wise, Location wise in comparison with MTD / YTD Actual Vs Budget for the period with Variance Report.
(ii) Statement of Financial Positions - With Schedules in line with completed checklist tasks.
(iii) To verify accuracy of all recorded and processed transactions. Receivable Management - Follow up collections, Reconciliation, Generation of SOA and Ageing.
Payable Management - Follow up for SOA, Reconciliation and timely Settlements.
Inventories Management - Ensure Insurance of Stocks, Participate in Periodical / Perpetual Counts, Reconcile and to generate Valuation & Ageing, verify Landed Costing of shipments.
Cash Management - 3 months revolving Cashflow Statement, Daily Retail POS Reconciliation, Petty Cash Cycle, Verification of Credit Card Sale Realization & Reconciliation etc.
Bank Management - Daily Bank Position Reporting, Banking, Cash Pooling, Reconciliation etc.
Fixed Assets Management - Maintain FA Register, Record Transactions, Participate in Counts, Insurance of Assets, Amortization and Replacements etc.
Inter Company - Transaction recording, follow up and Reconciliation.
With regards to other regional businesses Viz. Jordan, Lebanon and any other regions added in future, to liaise and co-ordinate with respective office Local Accountants and to obtain similar MIS Reports to Consolidate / Combined it and to present them to the Management on monthly basis.
Assist CFO in Group Level Consolidation.
Year end books Closing, liaising with an External Auditors, completion of timely Audit. Other Responsibilities:
Annual Budgets: Forward Templates, Verification of source / base, Compilation of Final Budgets, Presentation to Management for their Approval.
Staff related:
Process Monthly Staff Payroll with incentives (if any), its timely settlements.
Process staff final settlements, accrue staff leaves & EOSB, maintain HR records, staff Medical Health Insurance and track timely settlements of any local authorities dues related to staff payroll (KSA & UAE). Regulatory Compliances:
1. Input / Output VAT transactions recording, its verification, its reconciliation, filling of Returns (KSA & UAE) and processing its net settlements on timely basis (on or before its due dates).
2. Ensure the timely completion of Audits to enable to file Zakat Returns and / or to upload Audit Financials as per required with local authorities on or before its due dates (KSA & UAE).
External Reporting: To Report accurate Net Sales Turnover to Mall Operators (Monthly within set timelines) as well to file Annual Sales Turnover Audit Report (within set timelines).
Lease Contracts & Licence Renewals: Office / Outlet Lease Contracts and Trade / Software Licences on timely basis.
Assist CFO: in New Brand / Location / Project / Business Venture Feasibilities from time to time.
Negotiation: Participate in better price & service deals negotiation with Suppliers.
Liaison with External Auditors: Local and Regional for Audit Completion on timely basis.
Internal Control Processes & Templates: To develop, to implement and participate to streamline the Workflows / Internal Controls and Processes from time to time to strive the Group to achieve its business goals and objectives.
Impart Trainings: On going on Job training to Subordinate Staffs.
ERP Implementation: Participate in selection of ERP Software, Requirement Gathering, Functional Processes Development, Gap Analyzing, Clean Data Preparation & Upload for Migration, Change Management, Report Development, Pilot Testing and Go Live Process etc.
Promoted Role: To Act as Deputy CFO, when CFO is away from his office and / or on leave (only during absence of CFO from his Office) to meet business requirements.
Any other responsibilities that could be added based on the role function by the management and / or by the direct line manager from time to time. ? Should have fair knowledge of Accounting, Costing, Fixed Assets, CAPEX, Inventory Management, Receivable & Payable Management, Working Capital Management, Cash Management.
? Knowledge in Budget preparation and comparison and its presentation.
? Knowledge in banking finance utilization and routine operations, statutory audit, monthly activity and MIS reporting etc.
? Should possess comprehensive knowledge of Import/Export procedures, Tax / Vat and other regulatory compliances applicable in the region and excellent understanding of commercial terms.
? Ability to complete day to day task, Smart worker, ability to prioritize tasks and Time Management.
? Retail/wholesale experience in Perfumes, Skin Care, Cosmetics & Accessories
? Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure to accomplish the tasks on timely basis
? Accountable and responsible for transactions materiality / reliability / legality and accuracy.
? Good Self Communication, fluency in English.
? Computer literate.
? Presentable, and to comply with Dress Code.
? Honesty, Hard Working, Integrity and Loyalty.
? Well behaved & discipline.
? To carry responsibilities as per the Job functions assigned.
? Team Player and capable of working independently.
? Careful with numbers, an eye on details.
? Ability to Articulate, Problem Solver and Solution Finder.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
? B.COM / M.COM , CA Inter could be an advantage
? At least 3 to 5 Years of Trading Company Accounting Experience.
? Previous experience in UAE/GCC with reputed Organization would be a definite advantage.
? Good Computer Knowledge (Mainly well versed with Microsoft and ERP Softwares)
? Work requires a flexible schedule and availability during weekends to attend priorities (as per required). Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
