We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented
Accounts Fresher
to support the finance department with essential accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have
1-3 years of relevant experience
in the UAE and will be responsible for managing accounts payable, handling petty cash, processing month-end invoicing, and assisting with basic account reconciliation to ensure the accuracy of financial records. Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable & Invoicing
Process vendor invoices, verifying details against purchase orders and ensuring accurate recording.
Prepare and initiate timely payments to vendors while adhering to company policies and approval limits.
Maintain comprehensive vendor records and reconcile accounts payable ledgers regularly to resolve any discrepancies.
Generate and process month-end sales invoices accurately and ensure proper revenue recognition.
Petty Cash Management
Manage and disburse petty cash for day-to-day office expenses and operational needs.
Maintain meticulous records of all petty cash transactions with proper supporting documentation.
Prepare periodic petty cash reconciliation reports for review.
General Accounting Support
Assist the Finance Manager/Senior Accountant with basic
month-end and year-end financial closings
.
Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger entries as required.
Ensure all financial transactions and records comply with
UAE financial regulations
.
Contribute to the filing and maintenance of organized financial documents and records.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience
in core accounting functions (Accounts Payable, Invoicing, General Ledger) within the UAE.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g.,
QuickBooks, Tally, SAP, or a relevant ERP system
).
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reconciliation.
Excellent
attention to detail, accuracy
, and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written
communication and organizational skills
.
Proven ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and integrity in handling financial information.
