Job Profile:
The Accounts Executive is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with IFRS and UAE VAT regulations, and supporting financial reporting. The role involves bank reconciliations, accounts payable & receivable management, financial analysis, and month-end closing activities, ensuring smooth financial operations and timely reporting to management.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Accounts Payable & Receivable
Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments.
Prepare customer invoices and follow up on overdue accounts.
Reconcile vendor and customer statements regularly.
Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable
2. General Ledger Maintenance
Record all financial transactions in the accounting system.
Assist in preparing journal entries and adjustments.
Reconcile general ledger accounts monthly.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal accounting policies.
3. Banking & Reconciliation
Perform daily bank reconciliations.
Monitor and record all bank transactions and charges.
Liaise with banks for queries and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain updated bank and cash ledgers
4. Financial Reporting
Assist in preparing profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
Generate and analyze MIS reports for management.
Identify variances and assist in correcting errors.
5. Tax & Compliance
Assist in preparation and filing of VAT returns and related documents.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations.
Coordinate with auditors and support statutory audit requirements.
Ensure compliance with company and government financial policies.
6. Petty Cash & Expense Management
Manage daily petty cash disbursements and reconciliations.
Review and process employee reimbursement claims.
Monitor and control office and administrative expenses.
Maintain accurate records of petty cash and related expenses
7. Documentation & Filing
Ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
Organize and maintain physical and digital accounting records.
Support audit preparation with necessary documentation.
Archive past financial records as per company policy.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
2 - 4 years of relevant accounting experience within the UAE
Candidate must be able to manage all accounts independently.
Excellent communication in English
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho Books, etc.).
Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
Familiarity with ERP systems and online banking platforms.
Understanding of IFRS and local compliance standards.
Basic knowledge of data analytics or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for financial reporting.
