to manage day-to-day accounting operations for our retail jewellery business in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the retail, trading, or jewellery industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments
Prepare daily sales reports and reconcile with POS/ERP systems
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely follow-ups and clearances
Assist in bank reconciliations and petty cash management
Monitor inventory and assist with stock reconciliations
Handle VAT computations and filings as per UAE regulations
Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and external stakeholders
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
Assist in preparing financial reports and MIS for management review
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in retail or jewellery sectors
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems like Wingold Next)
Knowledge of UAE VAT laws and compliance requirements
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a retail jewellery environment is a plus
Knowledge of inventory accounting and cost control
Familiarity with UAE banking systems and local regulatory requirements
