The Role
The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks within the travel industry. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Working alongside the CFO and finance team to ensure business financial health - Assist with daily accounting tasks such as data entry, processing invoices, and reconciling accounts. - Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements. - Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes. - Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. - Communicate with clients and vendors regarding accounting matters. - Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements. - Maintain accurate and organized financial records. - Support the accounting team with month-end and year-end close processes. - Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Previous experience in an accounting role, preferably in the travel industry. - Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Experience with payroll and expense processing is a plus. - Knowledge of UAE accounting regulations is preferred. - Fluent in English, knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
