Roles and Responsibilities Company Overview: Prima Luxury is a real estate brokerage firm, which specializes in exceptional service of buying, selling, and leasing residential and commercial properties in Dubai. We are currently seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, motivated Accounts assistant to assist the Accounting and finance department. Job Responsibilities:
  • Data recording, Bank reconciliation and Reporting:
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, trial balance, and journalentries.
  • Reconcile bank statements and other accounts regularly.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes.
Financial Reports:
  • To prepare financial reports, analyze financial data to identify trends and patterns, and provide financial advice to senior management.
Accounts receivables:
  • Process and record incoming payments from customers accurately.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to resolve billing and collection issues.
  • Prepare and send customer account statements regularly.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer transactions.
Accounts Payable:
  • Process vendor invoices and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of vendor bills and supporting documents.
  • Prepare and perform vendor payment runs in accordance with payment terms.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and respond to payment inquiries.
Payroll:
  • To manage the company payroll process. This involves ensuring that employee salaries and other payments are accurate, timely, and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. To be able to maintain accurate records of all payroll transactions and ensure that all deductions and taxes are calculated correctly.
VAT & Tax Compliance:
  • To manage and process the company`s tax obligations, including VAT and corporate tax. This involves ensuring that all payments are accurate and timely, and that all applicable laws and regulations are complied with. To be able to maintain accurate records of all tax transactions and ensure that all tax returns are filed on time and accurately.
Desired Candidate Profile:
  • Bachelor`s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience of 2-3 years as an Accountant in the relevant area (General, Receivables, Payables, etc.) or Industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Tally ERP Knowledge is a must.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
