Job Description

BookRobo is looking for an accounting & tax supervisor to manage a portfolio of clients, oversee deliverables, and ensure compliance with UAE accounting, VAT, and corporate tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of SME clients across accounting, bookkeeping, VAT, and corporate tax. Review deliverables (monthly accounts, VAT returns, tax filings, payroll) prepared by junior staff before client submission. Act as point of contact for assigned clients, handling queries and ensuring deadlines are met. Prepare and review VAT returns, corporate tax computations, and financial statements. Ensure compliance with FTA regulations and UAE corporate tax law. Schedule and conduct regular internal reviews to maintain quality standards. Support the Principal in client meetings and advisory projects. Contribute to process improvements for efficiency and client service.
Requirements

Minimum 2 years of UAE practice experience in an accounting/tax firm in a similar role Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations. Solid understanding of IFRS and ability to apply it in preparing/reviewing financial statements. Relevant professional and/or academic qualification Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho) Strong communication skills and ability to manage client relationships. Detail-oriented with the ability to review and improve junior staff work. Comfortable working in a lean, fast-paced environment. Excellent time management and task management skills to plan the work effectively and deliver efficiently.
Compensation & Benefits

Salary Range: AED 8,000 - 12,000 per month (depending on experience). Hybrid working model (office + remote). Opportunity to grow with a boutique firm and take on more responsibility as the company scales. Exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients across industries.
