Accounting Specialist

Job Description

We are currently looking for a new team member as \xe2\x80\x9cAccounting Specialist\xe2\x80\x9d, willing to join us in our Dubai Office.
  • Recording of invoices
  • Checking bank statements monthly and recording bank transactions
  • Checking intercompany balance regularly
  • Recording of petty cash transactions
  • Recording of personnel-related transactions (advance, telephone, slop chest)
  • Reconciliation of supplier accounts on a monthly basis
  • Daily checking of vendor account with debit and credit balance in the system to match payments made against invoice recorded
  • Monthly checking of temporary account and transferring amounts to final accounts (deferred expenses like insurance and accrual of interest expenses)
  • Issuance of intercompany receipts
  • Preparation of sales invoices
  • Execute depreciation and valuation transaction code in SAP
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration, Accounting other qualified disciplines of reputable universities. Master degree in related departments is a plus,
  • Minimum 3 years of Accounting experience
  • Experienced in SAP and other ERP
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge about accounting and financial terminology is a must
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access
  • Strong communication and follow up skills
  • Team player, analytical, dynamic, result-oriented and proactive, eager to learn
