Description

Job Purpose:
To manage and facilitate preparing accounts & tax returns; administering expenditures, controlling income, auditing financial information.
Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable and general ledger
• Administer revenue collection & its reconciliation
• Ensure the accurate recording of all procurement bills.
• Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
• Facilitate preparation of balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports in a timely fashion
• Ensure implementation of sound accounting practice and resource management.
• Support Finance and Admin team in proper asset management.
• Proper execution of requisitions, expenditure, and accountability of organizational resources.
• Manage communication with external authorities, agencies, and partners regarding finance management.
• Complies local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Minimum of 3 years of full cycle accounting experience preferably in FMCG industry.
• Sound understanding of UAE s Taxation Law.
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
• Ability to work in a demanding self-supervisory, multi-task environment within clear timelines.
• Strong interpersonal, and cooperative working skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong administrative ability and organizational skills
